HELPING YOU TAKE THE FIRST STEPS
You are a professional and your career is an important part of your life. If you are ready to take the next steps in freeing yourself from your addictions, I am here to help.
My Story
My name is Andrew and I am a recovering addict. I am a professional and chose to take the necessary actions to free myself from my addictions. I had developed addictions that were taking control of my life and I was not able to quit on my own. It started out slow, but escalated very rapidly. I was certain I could quit on my own. I thought I was in control. This turned out to be far from the truth. I was filled with shame, embarrassed about who I had become and what I had done to slowly ruin my personal and professional relationships. I decided to go to a recovery center for professionals. It was a scary step to take, but also very rewarding. I felt overwhelmed trying to figure everything out while I was in the recovery center. I had one person I could talk to who had been through the process and he helped guide me. Without him I would have been completely lost. I remember thinking how much easier it could be if all the resources needed were in one place. That is the goal here. Now that I have been through the process, I want to be of service to you.
The Mission
In the days leading up to my admission to and while I was at the recovery center, I spent a great deal of time trying to figure everything out.  Where would I go?  What would it look like when I got there?  How would I pay for it all?  Would I need an attorney?  How would I keep my professional license?  These were just a few of the questions that I had.  I was making phone calls and bouncing all over the internet.  Things would have been much easier had I had a website that where most everything I needed was in one place.  That is exactly why I created this website.  This should be your one-stop-shop for all of the resources you need to start to get your questions answered.  I, personally, can be of service to you as well.  I have been through what you are going through.  I remember how much it meant just to talk to someone who had been through the process and experienced the same ups and downs.  It provided reassurance that I was going to make it through the other side no matter the outcome.  If you have questions I may be able to help you out or point you in the right direction.  If have worries I may be able to provide you with some reassurance.  Contact me if you need help starting out the process of treating your addiction.
